Montana Wannasaveang creates bold, abstract color fields paintings. Her work is inspired by nature where she travels and sketches directly from the landscape in New England. Montana was born in 1953 in Thailand, now she lives and works in Boston, MA. She graduated with a B.A. in English Literature and Philosophy, and continued her studies in Art at the Museum of Fine Art, especially with Jon Imber as her mentor. Her studio is located at Midway Artists Studios, second floor, 15 Channel Center Street.
