Domingo Barreres, born in Spain, comes to USA in 1957. High school in West Hartford, Connecticut and in 1960 comes to Boston to study at the SMFA. Graduates in 1965 and wins scholarship to go travel in Europe. Back in USA, he is a painting instructor at SMFA until his retirement in 2006. Shows in New York at Victoria Munroe gallery and White Box. Witney Biennial in 1975. Shows in Spain from 1992. In Boston at Sunne Savage Gallery, Stavaridis Gallery, and currently at Howard Yezerski Gallery.
