Ian Kennelly received his BFA from MassArt and his MFA from Claremont Graduate University in the greater Los Angeles area. He has exhibited across the Northeast and the West Coast including exhibitions at the BCEC, WBUR, The Boston Children’s Museum, the South Shore Art Center, Northeastern University, the Mills Gallery, the Chandler Gallery, Glen Arbor Art Center and the Rocky Neck Art Colony. In May of 2018 he and his collection of LEGO were invited to the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum for the MassArt & Design collaborative Third Thursday event, ‘Creative Play.’ Recently, in the early spring of 2019, he completed a residency at the Webb School of Knoxville, TN. Most times, however, he can be found in his studio in Fort Point.
